Family
History & Bio of Alena
Many of our most admired performing
artists can trace their family tree
through music. Alena is no
exception. Her Great-Great
Grandmother was the personal
vocalist for the European Kaiser.
Her Great Grandmother was the
favorite among soprano soloists in
the Philharmonic Choir Of
Pennsylvania. Her Grandmother was a
Music Director for her local church.
Her Mother, Kathleen, somewhat of a
musical stray, was mainly imbedded
in country music. She performed at
grange halls, rodeos, and western
festivals.
Alena’s talent was inherited equally
from both sides of her family.
Her Great Grandfather played concert violin, and also
fiddle for the local barn dances and
granges. Her Grandfather played in
his own country band. Her Father,
Thomas, played trombone and sang
baritone for school concerts and
county fairs---when he wasn’t
donning his spurs, cowboy hat, and
rodeo riggin’ to follow the trail of
the rodeo circuit.
Alena started singing on
stage at the age of 7. She performed
at The Country Music Assoc. Western
Hall, in Banks, Oregon for her first
experience. It has been a whirlwind
of performances since then and Alena
has sung for many different venues
in many different locations for MANY
different people.
Here are some examples:
Dance Halls, Town Halls, Night Clubs, Bars, Fairs,
Rodeo’s, Conventions, Showcases,
Local, Regional, & National
Contests, Casino’s, Benefits,
Foundations, Senior Facility’s,
Lodges, Concerts, Theatre’s,
Wedding’s, Anniversaries, Funerals,
Bar-B-Ques, And Special Occasions.
Alena has performed virtually everywhere music can
enhance an event. Alena has also had
one of her original songs played on
the radio internationally only,
called “Willing Heart”. It’s a tune
with pop flavor and country soul. It
was quite popular and played
regularly for one year, from 1995
through 1996 on the airwaves
overseas.
Alena also managed, booked, and promoted her own band
all thru the 90’s. It was called
“Alena & Pacific Country”. She
learned enough to make a pretty big
noise and had the pleasure of
opening up for several country music
stars at “The Oregon Jamboree”. Now,
with over 20 years under her belt,
her vocals are maturing into an
amazing powerhouse that can lift you
or move you. Rock you or sooth you.
Alena sings with every fiber of her being on her
serious songs, then lets her hair
down with some playful yodeling,
good ole’ cowgirl songs. Her style
resembles that of Patsy Cline,
Wynonna, & Cher molded into one. She
has the ability to sing a ballad
that can move your soul, then flip
and growl to make you whole.
Although she really has her own
unique style, she definitely has a
rich and pitch perfect vocal
intonation.
Alena is poised to
perform at all events, venues,
musical theatres, and establishments
in need of fine music, with all the
grace and demand that is expected
from a professional.
“Her talent
truly amazes me. After her
performance she always leaves me
wanting more…” -
